Yianni’s Kitchen was opened at the present location in the Market in 2000. Yianni’s father, George, was in the restaurant business for over 40 years and Yianni learned the business from him. George is now retired but helps with the cooking, using many recipes passed down through the family.

Yianni’s specializes in homemade Greek foods. Yianni and his family prepare an array of delicious Greek dishes, such as lemon chicken with rice, souvlaki (pork or chicken), mousaka, roast lamb, stews, Greek salads, falafel, and gyros (chicken, lamb or beef). They also serve one of the best breakfasts in the Market: omelets, bacon, sausages and salads to keep you energized all morning.

The apple fritters are unique to Yianni’s and found nowhere else in the Market. A cup of coffee and a box of fresh, cinnamon sugar-covered apple fritters are a taste sensation to share with friends or family. Yianni caters Greek specialties.
